The Ninth International Biocuration Conference will be held on April 10-14, 2016, in the hometown of the Swiss-Prot Database: Geneva, Switzerland. Our satellite workshop "Text Mining and Biocuration: Moving to Integration" will explore advances and challenges in the field of Text Mining applied to Biocuration.
The workshop is organized on April 13 and will consist in dedicated time slots for short presentations. Posters and demos will take place during the main conference poster session (April 11-12, in the evening). The workshop will have shared sessions with the workshop on “Information extraction for glycobiology: building a wishlist for a toolbox”. A round table will close the day.
Participants are invited to submit extended abstracts describing advances and challenges on all aspects of text mining for biocuration, for short presentation, poster and/or demo.
